Required Designation:
- This role requires you to have obtained the Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist® (CTRS) designation.
Responsibilities:
- This is a consultant position with flexible hours depending on candidate availability.
- Be a subject matter expert to the team related to Recreation Therapy.
- Other duties and collaborative projects as assigned.
Mandatory Skills:
- Certified Recreation Therapist.
- 5+ years’ experience as a Recreation Therapist in the long-term care and/or retirement living sector.
- 3+ years’ experience using an online recreation tracking software.
- Must be computer savvy, with advanced computer skills, and the ability to learn new software.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Comfortable communicating internally with a chat system such as Google/Slack/Teams.
- Strong writing skills, exceptional verbal communication, and high attention to detail are requirements for this role.
- Ability to self-regulate and manage stress.
- Ability to teach yourself new skills, competencies, and find answers on your own.
- You are eager to pick up the phone, and are able to speak with people at all levels of an organization.

- You must have a quiet and private workplace available. Home office where there will be minimal interruptions during working hours.

- We provide necessary computer equipment such as computer, monitor(s), keyboard, mouse, webcam, and headset.
